Story behind the piece: I took a class with Phillip that focused on tool making. This experience opened up so many possibilities for me and continues to be a touchstone for my studio pursuits.
Artist Bio: Andy Fallat is a sculptor working in Seattle Washington. He is the full-time faculty in sculpture through the 3d4m department at the University of Washington.
This piece is part of, From Wave to Shining Wave: a Celebration of Phil Baldwin and Shining Wave Metals Baldwin. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Seattle Metals Guild. 5% of sales will be donated to help fund an endowment at Pendland in Phillip Baldwin’s name. Learn more HERE.
